About the Academy:

Human civilization is the product of cultural foundations laid centuries ago in Greece, Egypt, Iran, India and China. These five civilization spheres were united by their common pursuit of knowledge and the arts. They produced architectural masterpieces such as the Pyramids, the Great Wall, the Acropolis and Persepolis which are today considered part of world heritage. The genius of music they produced transcended geographical boundaries as it moved from China crossing India, Iran and Egypt to the West and back again, while in different regions and times thinkers such as Confucius, Aristotle and Avicenna taught men philosophy - the basis of all social and political thought. Since time immemorial men in every corner of the inhabited world have engaged themselves in the study of astronomy, geometry, arithmetic, medicine and the natural sciences in order to advance human knowledge.
